My Students

My responsible fifth grade students are working hard to become independent and more organized, but this is a difficult task with so many papers to keep track of!

My students are amazing leaders and take initiative in running many parts of our classroom community.

They apply for jobs that help the logistics in our classroom run smoothly. One request the mail distributors have asked for is a more efficient way to pass out the many letters and forms that are sent home!

My Project

Mailboxes will help students keep track of their work, aid communication with parents, and provide them with a safe place to keep track of important items. This project will make a tremendous difference in our classroom because it encourages organizational habits that students will take with them into middle school.

My goal is for students to understand how important an organized classroom is, and to help set them up for success by learning to keep track of important materials and meet deadlines - life skills that will benefit them now and in their future!
