My Students

Do you remember the first time you picked up a magnet? The amazement you felt when it first attracted that paper clip? That is what I want my students to experience too!

I teach kindergarten in an inner city school that currently has a 98% poverty level.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, many not speaking any English. My students are full of energy and love to create and imagine new things.

My Project

I am asking for 6 different types of magnet sets that will allow my students to explore magnetism in many different ways. I know it will peak their curiosity and they will be ready to learn more. Children love to experiment, and these tools would help them do just that!

My students desperately need hands on activities in order to keep them engaged in the classroom every day.

These magnet sets would provide them with hours of experimenting and fun. Please consider donating to this project.
