This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Everything you have ever written or read would not have been possible without the 26 letters of the alphabet!

My students are an enthusiastic bunch of 4 year-old preschoolers.

My students come from a high-poverty neighborhood and all of them qualify for free lunch at school. Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. These brilliant kids accomplish so much in their first years of school!

My Project

I am requesting magnetic letter tiles and letter builders to help my students learn their ABC's. The wonderful thing about these materials is that they are adaptable throughout the year. We will begin using them to learn the 26 letters of the alphabet and then use them to build words later in the year.

One day, one of my students could be your favorite author, playwright, or poet, however, in order to get there they need to learn their alphabet!

These materials will last for years and years and they will be used on a daily basis. Please help make this project a reality for my students.
