My students need 25 stability balls to help with motor skills, attention and concentration.

Sitting for 7 hours in school seems like a chore. Students are so active and need an outlet for that energy. Not just that but balance and posture are very important for maximum oxygen to reach the brain.
My students are hardworking children who come from diverse backgrounds.
Some of my students have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, are Gifted and everywhere in between. My students vary in levels of reading and math skills. Most of the students in our class are on free lunch with parents who are working hard to provide for them.
Stability balls are great to help sensory processing disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or be just what a fidgety student needs in order to reach their full learning potential. Core muscles are used to help control the instability of the ball. Even the slight movement of keeping the ball stable helps students focus. For students who need to move a lot, stability balls as chairs have been proven to help them keep their focus on learning in the classroom. There are three main reasons for incorporating stability balls in the classroom. Movement increases blood flow to the brain, which in turn creates better brain function, resulting in learning! Stability balls help students who fidget a lot, helping their natural need to move. Slight movements on the stability ball use the built up energy throughout the day. Using a stability ball builds core muscles. By developing large motor muscles, small motor muscles are supported.
This project will make a difference in my student's ability to learn and focus.
By increasing blood flow and oxygen to the brain, these 25 stability balls will help students who need movement and help build core muscles.
