We Need An Uncracked, Unsqueaky, Safe Place to Sit! Please!

My students need 34 chairs for our classroom that are not cracked, squeaky, and falling apart.

My Students

Squeak!! Crack!! Mrs. S, my chair is breaking!!! There is a bolt sticking out!! This is what I hear on a daily basis in my classroom! A comfortable classroom is a must and our chairs are about ready for the dumpster. Our class is in desperate need of a good set of student chairs.

I teach fourth grade in a high needs Title I school district.

I have a lively, energetic group of 32 students. They are full of energy and they are motivated to learn. I am greeted by 32 faces at the door each morning. I love my job and do my best to educate my students each and every day. I try to get them up and about throughout the day, but a majority of the day is spent sitting. Our problem is we have terrible classroom chairs!

My Project

We really need a basic set of 34 student chairs. I looked for the least expensive chairs and found some great ones! These new chairs will make an ENORMOUS difference in our classroom!!! It would be so fantastic to start the school year off with a set of safe, sturdy, comfortable chairs. My students deserve these. They are great, hard working kids who want to learn. Having some good chairs would help them with their learning experience on a daily basis.

With this new set of classroom chairs my students will have the opportunity to sit comfortably while they learn.

These chairs are really a necessity in our room. Thank you for taking the time to read our project.
