My Students

Do you have a special place at home with mementos from school? Our students create beautiful projects, stories, art work and posters. Their reading and writing are so wonderful that we like to preserve them. By laminating these works, we know that they will be protected and saved.

Our 450 kindergarten through eighth grade writers, scientists, mathematicians and artists attend a high-poverty school in Wisconsin.

Even though we no longer have an art teacher, students still enjoy using their artistic skills to make posters, drawings, paintings, and books. They are also creative writers. Many write stories and poems that they wish to display. Students combine art with science and math class, too.

My Project

These artistic and creative milestones can be easily torn or ruined. As teachers, we like to laminate the more special achievements of our students so they can be shown to family members, displayed at school, and saved as special remembrances. During art time, students may draw or paint a special picture they want to save or hang on a bulletin board. Science Fair is another time of year that students want to make lasting posters and boards for their experiment. Holidays are still another time that students make projects that they may hang up at home or give to a relative as a personal present. All these occasions are important in the lives of our students and should be preserved.

With your donation, our artists, scientists and writers will be able to create special one-of-a-kind projects that can be saved or given to someone important.

Your donation will allow us to preserve these milestones of learning that document the children's progress in school. I have had students tell me that they saved all the books they made in first grade and they are now grown with children of their own. Please help us be able to provide this service to our children.
