Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class of special needs students are very motivated learners. They are eager to learn about good characters traits, anti-bullying and good values.

I teach a class of children with diverse backgrounds that include a variety of disabilities.

My students are mostly English language learners. Many of them are economically challenged and may lack home support. In spite of this, they come to school everyday with smiles on their faces eager to learn.

My Project

With all the books on bullying, my students will learn about anti-bullying and developing good character. With the ink for our printer, they will be able to research about anti-bullying and print out reports and stories on anti-bullying and good character. With the pencil sharpener and blank story books, the can write and publish their very own stories on the topic of anti-bullying and good character.

My students will be able to learn about anti-bullying with all these resources.

In addition, they will be able to write, print and publish what they have learned and share their own experiences.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
