Can you imagine designing and imagining an invention and then having it "printed" right in front of your eyes? This is a thought of the future, but the future is here!
I have 17 bright third grade students.
They are full of ideas and creativity. They are willing to try most anything and are always eager to test out new technology. A MakerBot 3D printer is something we can only imagine. We live in a small town where classroom budgets are very limited. This would truly be a life changing gift to our classroom.
My Project
Every year we brain storm, design, and create inventions. Can you imagine now taking these ideas and making them come alive? The MakerBot 3D printer will do just that. This excitement would ignite their passion for creativity and inspire learning.
Students do presentations to meet the Common Core standards. Can you imagine a presentation where students were able to create a prop using our MakerBot 3D printer? This will change my students' perspective on what is possible!
This MakerBot 3D printer will provide an opportunity that would never happen in our small town classroom.
This is truly an opportunity of a lifetime and will ignite learning. Science will never be the same for my students.
