Collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking are keys in our classroom! Students often work together to create projects that showcase their learning. In my classroom we believe in the importance of learning through doing and being hands-on.
I have an amazing group of 18 third graders who are eager to learn and grow.
They are energetic and passionate about their learning. My students love to be active and hands-on. They also love to collaborate and share their learning through projects.
Our school is located in a rural area and the poverty level is high. Students are often lacking basic supplies and our classroom budgets are limited. These art materials would be very beneficial for all of my students.
My Project
These art materials would be used frequently by my students. Students would be able to work collaboratively to create projects that showcase their learning and allow them to think critically and solve problems as a team. These skills are fundamental to education today. By integrating art into our core subjects of math and language arts students see real world applications for the skills they are learning.
Students would be able to plan and create using chart paper, markers, Post-It notes, colored pencils and more!
By donating to this project you would be touching the lives of my students on a daily basis.
These art materials would make a world of difference for my students. They would be able to create, collaborate, and critically think to complete projects such as Genius Hour, Invention Convention, and Economics Fair.
