"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." This quote from Dr. Seuss shows how important reading and writing are for student success in today's world. Help us organize our learning with interactive binder supplies!
Our accredited school is located in a small suburb in Kansas.
We have 432 students enrolled in our school. The student attendance rate in our school is 96%. In our school, 53% of the students are male and 47% of the students are female. 56% of the students are classified as economically disadvantaged. 30% of the students in the building are minority. 5% of our students are ELLs. 10% of our students have a disability.
My Project
We are requesting binders and dividers for our interactive reading and writing binders. The Common Core Standards are focusing on student work and personal responsibility for their learning. Students will be able to organize and take accountability for their learning before they start middle school. These interactive binders will excite students to learn and benefit all of the diverse needs in my classroom. Students can set goals, track progress, organize their reference materials, and show personal responsibility. Students will also be able to view their writing from the start of the year to the end to see growth. They will be able to identify personal writing goals to work on throughout the year.
Help excite my students to become strong readers and writers!
Interactive binders are aligned with the new common core standards and give students a responsibility for their own learning. Help prepare my students for middle school and lifelong learning!
