Want to put students to sleep? Just hand them a worksheet. Want to keep students engaged and learning? Give them a great teacher presentation followed by fun technology. Tablets are an affordable and "green" way to provide more practice, feedback, and excitement in the classroom.

At our school, students are anxious to learn about math and science.

Our whole school was built with science, space, and math in mind. Each classroom is already equipped with a projector and wi-fi capabilities. An android tablet for the teacher and class to share is needed so the students can practice the skills being taught and get immediate feedback. Amazing apps are available for free, and with the camera, we can create and share presentations with the whole class!

My Project

Imagine a classroom that meets the need of EVERY student. Activities that hold the attention of students and meet every skill level are available and free if you have the technology to access them. Our school has almost doubled in size since we opened our doors last year. We had fantastic success last year, but the advances in technology mean this year we can do even better in spite of our growing class sizes! We need your help to keep moving forward. In our 3rd grade classroom we teach students to type so they can better navigate the computer. We use computers to write, to practice language, math, science and social studies. We even graph data. More computers means more students have access to every learning activity.

We live in an amazing time in the history of education.

With the right equipment, there is no reason that EVERY child's needs cannot be met. The very lowest students can learn right along with the very highest students, and do it at the same time with the same teacher. Thank you so much for giving us the tools we need!
