This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our future techies need your help! The purchase of two tablets will help my students become experts in technology.

I work at a K-5 school in Los Angeles County.

My students have limited access to technology. Some of my students rely on the public library or our school to access the Internet. My students are very eager to learn and will often leave school late in order to get to use the Internet. Many of my students often rely on the Internet to enhance their learning and to see what the world is like outside of our city.

My Project

My students will work in collaborative groups during Language Arts, English language Development, and Mathematics and use the tablets to enhance their instruction. The use of the tablets will allow my students to research and use problem solving skills as they work in groups. Students will learn how to analyze information, how to work in collaborative groups, and how to research information.
