My Students

I look around our room and see a few missing items that would make our day complete! Let's complete the puzzle to our learning!

I have the honor of being a literacy specialist in a diverse and growing K-4 school.

I teach at an amazing public school in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. I love the enthusiasm my students have towards learning. It is their enthusiasm that encourages me to look for ways to enhance my teaching and find great, innovative materials to make learning fun. Their love of learning is what drives me to give them the best because that is what they deserve!

My Project

OSMO has added a new game and hands-on piece to their interactive gaming system and we MUST have it! They have added the Numbers system. We have two OSMO systems so we need two Numbers systems so we can experience this new hands-on way of building numbers. We need a few more red book bins because we had to borrow some from a neighboring 1st grade classroom. I am sure they will need their bins back and our books will be back on the floor. The red bins will help organize our books! We also need ACC college pennants so we can reach for the stars and set goals for our future. I want my students to see the mascots for the ACC schools so they are familiar with them. We need to all have goals for the future!
