My Students

Did you ever have a teacher that tried to make things more interesting by incorporating hands-on activities? My students are in need of stopwatches in order to make this possible with their physics content.

My students are 7th graders at an International Bachelorette school.

Our school is one of the most diverse in our district. Although it is an IB school, my students definitely vary in ability levels. Each class is integrated with students from every ability level. This challenges each and every student in the class.

My Project

Science classes are at there best when the students get to be engaged in quality activities. As we approach our fourth quarter, we are going to be learning about physics. This is an excellent opportunity for me to incorporate great labs. My students will be calculating speed, momentum, and velocity. Time is a huge factor when you do calculations in physics. Stopwatches are a necessity for the students to complete these tasks. These calculations will also help integrate math into our science class. Physics teaches children essential life skills.

Some of my most memorable science classes involve engaging physics labs.

The more engaging a class is the more memorable it will be for a child. I would like to help my students create memories and skills that will last a lifetime!!!
