My Students

Our 8th grade science class provides hands on experiences for students which prepares them socially, academically, and developmentally. These experiences allow students opportunities at school that they may not be able to receive at home.

We are a 100% free and reduced lunch school located in a high-poverty area.

We try very hard to meet the needs of our students. Although, we have students come to us with limited experiences and background knowledge, we provide students with many enrichment opportunities.

My Project

My students are a very energetic group. They need one Energy and Its Source Game and one Renewable Energy Education Set. These items will provide students with the opportunity to work cooperatively together through solving problems. These resources will allow my students to explore the world of renewable energy and provide fun activities that will provide lasting effects

Problem-solving is a skill that can be used throughout a person's life. I feel that our renewable energy project will provide these students with an experience they will never forget.
