Our school has a unique graduation requirement that assists students prepare for college! As the Senior Interdisciplinary Project Facilitator, I work with all seniors and their mentors. My job is to insure that all seniors meet this graduation requirement.

The Senior Interdisciplinary Project is a graduation requirement for all students. Students work through the process to the final presentation of their projects with their mentors. Seniors choose a topic, conduct research, write a proposal, visit an outside research resource, and present the project in a thirty minute presentation to a panel of 5 judges: administrator, staff member, librarian, community member and student choice member.

Our seniors need a room divider to use during presentation. This will benefit our students through ease of presentation.

The Senior Interdisciplinary Project helps seniors prepare college. It ensures that students graduate with the knowledge needed to conduct research, document their findings, write proposals, and successfully present projects before an evaluation panel.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
