Send A Little Mouse To School

My students need 12 mini-mice to fit their smaller hands and 12 splitters for the headphones would be great so I can plug in and work with them.

My school has many students who are experiencing significant reading difficulties. In response to this, the county has purchased a wonderful computer program that interacts with the students, adjusting the difficulty level and targets based upon each child's current level. More than 60 of our poorest readers participate in this program. My students range from first grade to sixth grade. The students really enjoy the "games." Many of them have volunteered to work with this program during their recess period or after school. However, my younger students have difficulty using the regular sized mouse. They would really benefit from a mouse that fits their smaller hands. I have also included a request for splitters so I can listen with the students individually. In this manner, I can provide cues and strategies while they work on various skills. Currently, I have three splitters, but one for each computer would be ideal so I wouldn't have to interrupt the "game" to plug in. Our county is located in a financially challenged region, so funds are not available to replace the existing mice or to provide splitters. You can make a huge difference for these students. Thank you so much for considering our program.
