My Students

Do you know what it is like to juggle about 7 USB sticks at once? Well that's what I do each day because that's all I have to save my student's work on from this year.

I am the proud teacher of special ed 6th graders in a NYC Dept.

of Ed Public School. My students work extra hard each day to overcome the deficits associated with their disabilities. When they do their work on the computer, their work is saved on a USB stick. Since this past September, we are now up to using 7 USB sticks for the student's work.

My Project

Having one source, such as a portable External Hard Drive, will allow the students and I to access their work more freely and easily. Right now we have 7 USB sticks that hold the student's work. If we had an external hard drive with lots of capacity, such as a terabyte, we can store all of their work in one place.

I can't even begin to tell you how much more convenient having an external hard drive will be for our class.

The kids will be able to take it from class to class and store all of their work on it. We won't have to juggle all the USB sticks to see which one has which work on it. It will save us time and lots of frustration. It will make all of our lives so much easier! :)
