We need hands-on experiences to help us bring more excitement to our learning.
My students are very energetic, eager learners.
They are so excited about school and they deserve so much! Our school is located in a very rural part of our county and many of the families represented at our school are very high poverty. Often times students come to school without the basics.
My Project
I am requesting a butterfly and frog kit, life cycle sequencing games, life cycle viewers, and real live larvae! These materials will add so much excitement to our literacy unit, "Ready, Set, Grow." Having hands-on materials and being able to witness a frog and butterfly actually growing in our classroom would be so exciting.
This project is important because I can only imagine the smiles when our learning comes to life.
Learning is so much more exciting when the kids can see real life examples and not just pages in a book. My kids deserve so much more than I can provide for them on my own.
