Have you ever gotten tired of seeing things on the same white paper in black ink? Well just imagine you are five years old again and are beginning to write. Wouldn't it be fun to have your writing published on colorful paper?!
My students are a group of 22 lively five year olds.
Many come from low-income homes, but they love to learn and are very eager to experience new things. They attend a large rural elementary school in South Carolina that houses pre-k through fifth grade.
My Project
Using multipurpose color paper in the classroom will enable my students to help create a beautiful classroom environment. It helps the classroom looks bright and welcoming. We also use multipurpose color paper for our special projects and for the writing process. For the writing process I use the multipurpose color paper for the students final writing paper to display for parents and other students to view. The students are so proud when they have colorful work to display.
Donations to this project will help my students to become better writers and prepare them to be better students and learners throughout their lives.
This project will help them become more excited about their writing and they will have the opportunity to do better in school because they will have achieved success with writing early in their school careers.
