Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our fine arts magnet school is located in a vibrant and diverse community. Although we are in a high poverty district, our school has been able to retain our fine arts magnet status. However, it has been a challenge to find the funding for exciting new materials.

One hundred percent of our students are on free and reduced-price lunch.

Many of our families are struggling to get by, and do not have spare funds to purchase books for home or to enroll on online learning communities. However, my students are enthusiastic curious learners. Therefore, I want them to have any materials they need to further their education.

My Project

This project includes items that will start our year off in a much needed direction. My pencil sharpener does not always work and I am still waiting for a replacement so I would love to provide my students with a brand new model -same with our stapler! The money and word family sets would greatly enhance my students' learning. They are visually enticing and can be used by my students during center time. Our school district is not able to supply printer ink so this double package should get us through the year! Students could then print off research and their written reports.

I want the very best possible for my incredible students!

These materials would make sure that my students always had a sharp pencil, could print off their projects and staple them, plus have exciting colorful learning materials. We would love your support to make this happen!
