My Students

We need quality sound! Our 2nd hand computer speakers crackle in and out and have definitely seen better days.

My students love to sing.

They are great kids who wear their hearts on their sleeves. These are 6th and 7th graders beginning their middle school lives. They still have the innocence of childhood, but the "teenage" world is opening up to them. In choir, they are able to express themselves through singing. Our school is a high-poverty school. The current economy has made an impact on our community. We don't have the resources to offer all of the materials that will make a difference.

My Project

Our district doesn't have the budget to provide for an accompanist for the middle school choirs. Because of this, we often practice with recorded accompaniments until the time of performance, when the high school accompanist plays for us. Our current speakers crackle in and out and sometimes don't even work at all. We need high-quality speakers that we can rely on performing well when needed. We also need a cable to plug our digital recording device into these speakers. This will allow us hear back the recordings that our honor choir students create.

By donating and helping us to get this equipment, you will help our choirs to become more prepared for performances.

They will be able to sing in concerts with the confidence that comes with being fully prepared.
