My students need a classroom printer where they can print all the pictures they want for their photography portfolio.

My Students

Have you ever learned something without having the supplies? Our photography class lacks a printer which can be used to create a professional photography portfolio and to make great photo posters for the whole school.

I have a class of freshmen who are excited to create photography projects that show the whole school their progress.

We are at the end of this semester. However, for those students who are coming back for the photography 200, I would like them to print their photographs professionally to create a portfolio.

My Project

With a classroom printer, my students will learn to how to create a portfolio without having to wait such a long time. They will also learn time management because the waiting time to print one picture is long. Students don't get to print pictures from their computer. They have to save them into a flash drive, give them to me and I have print those photos for them. They will also learn decision making and responsibility, since we are trying to cut down the number of trees are killed for papers.

Photography class is an elective class in my school.

However, it is a class where students can have fun without having the pressure of standardized testing or any other pressure. Students rely on technology to learn and practice the curriculum of photography. They have great creativity skills that they can apply in this class. With a printer in this class, process of printing will be a lot easier and faster for students.
