Please Help Our Readers To Be Able To Sit At A Table

My students need 4 tables to sit at in our self-serve Library. We have makeshift furniture and desperately need tables for our readers.

My Students

Our students are accustomed to hand-me-downs and hand-me-downs are great! BUT, our tables are wobbly, older than our 25 year old building, and need to be replaced. Our library needs to be inviting to readers. Can you help us make this possible for our young readers?

Our readers are very deserving students attending an urban school in a neighborhood environment.

They enjoy reading and enjoy coming to the library once a week with our Interventionist. The self-serve library is also used for intervention. The tables we are requesting would be the most utilized tables in the school! Our readers would treat them with respect and take very good care of them.

My Project

The tables we are requesting will last us another life time. The ones that we have now have "had a good life" and desperately need to be retired after more than 25 years of use. Our students would be grateful and overjoyed to have comfortable, appropriate tables for them to use each day. I can hear the delightful hurrays already!

We are an established neighborhood charter school and so it is not too far reaching to say that these tables will impact students for the next decades! We take care of our things and make them last. Thank you for helping us have new tables for our readers.
