My Students

The students of SCCalvert Academy are in need of review materials for PASS. The students would love the opportunity to have just one more tool to use to help practice for the state test.

My students are 3-8 graders who attend a virtual academy.

This makes the learning experiences unique because they are all over the state. The books would help the students in the live classes as well as at home to practice for PASS. Since the students are all over South Carolina, we find it a great pleasure to work with the diverse population. The students take pride in their work and work hard each and every day.

My Project

The books that are to be purchased for my students will be used to help prepare them for the PASS test that is coming up in March and in May. These books will give the confidence they need to perform well on the test as well as give the needed skills to take the test. I will be able to use the books for review with my students and help them to gain the necessary skills they will need to pass the PASS. This will help to supplement what I have already been doing in the classroom.

This project is important to me and my students because we will be able to practice for PASS and give the students the confidence they will need going into the test.

Also, I feel that it is one more resource I can use in the classroom to help reach my students. This will give them the extra boost that they need in order to perform well on PASS.
