This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever set a goal and felt achievement once you made successfully completed it? My students are learning how to become leaders using Covey's 7 Habits of Happy Kids and they want to set then track their goals to visually see their success!

I have a group of 25 hilarious and hopeful 3rd graders who come from various backgrounds.

Some kids have strong parent support others do not have such a strong parent presence however it does not change their resilience to learn. They attend a charter school in an area where many schools are not making AYP...we are different because of our kids resilience. They always make AYP. Although the kids don't really understand what this means in the big picture, it gives them a goal to keep up their success and shows them they are in a place of leadership.

My Project

This bookshelf although simple will be a clean space for our data notebooks to be stored. We will be able to grab our goals and track our data towards reaching our goals simple and easy. I want my kids to know that their goals are important and by displaying them in the classroom for everyone to see they know they are important who walks in our room.

Please help us keep our goals clean and organized so we don't have to fret about making our classroom messy and taking them out of rock and a hard place.

People do not become leaders by themselves, it takes a village to raise them :)
