Are you good at math? If so, you're lucky. Math is a very challenging subject for many of my students.
I am moving to a new grade level this school year (3rd grade).
I will have around 17 children who attend a high poverty school. Many of them do not have real life experiences that are important to learning. I try to provide them with as many resources as possible to enrich their learning experience.
My Project
I am asking for several multiplication games and activities like Place Value Equivalency Puzzles, Math in a Flash and Learn to Multiply Magnets to use during math centers. I do not have math supplies for 3rd grade, as this will be my first year teaching 3rd. Multiplication is a big skill for 3rd grade and my students will benefit from the practice these materials will give them.
Not understanding math can be a frustrating thing.
I need these materials to help my students understand the complicated skills that are taught in 3rd grade. With hands on materials, my students will have a much better chance to succeed!
