My Students

Do you ever remember being a silly willy with reading? Mrs. Piggle Wiggle is a character that students love not only when they read the books, but for the rest of their lives! Give the students the gift of reading AND magic this year!

My students are low-performing, at risk, urban 3rd graders who often have little love for the experience of reading.

Often they say, "I don't like it," or, "It is too hard!" Help me connect reading in a magical way to transform my students attitudes towards reading with the help and magic of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle!

My Project

When students enjoy a story, they are hungry to read more. This grant will connect my students to the kind, warm-hearted and magical personality of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. Once she has hooked them in, they will be able to continue to love her with the 2 additional chapter books in this grant. My students will magically learn to love to read!

Very few books offer the sweetness and spellbinding nature of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle.

My students have a chance to have their lives changed forever with the kindness of your donation. Use your magic wand to touch my students with your own magic!
