More Fun to Read with Tools!

My students need exciting storytelling tools and books to practice reading skills!

My Students

Big Books and puppets are loved by children of all ages. Every class should have these materials!

Almost a year ago our students endured a horrific natural disaster.

In May a tornado ripped through the heart of our town. Our kids are resilient, so I know they will come back stronger than ever. Over 60% of the students at our school lost everything. I want to provide them with fun and engaging activities that are just right for them. I know we will be strong with all the great and strong parents, students, and teachers. My kids are energetic, creative, active, curious and many more adoring characteristics. The students at my school love working in stations. Stations give students the opportunity to create their own learning. The learning they create is meaningful to them and just right for meeting their personal needs. Stations are hands-on activities that students get to touch, manipulate, and create. Our Kindergarten classes are always full. We routinely run 25-32 kids in our classrooms. With this many students we need all the help we can get!

My Project

It is so important to engulf students at a young age with books and literature. One of the struggles we are now facing in schools is keeping students engaged during reading exercises. The big books, puppets, and other tools will provide a novelty to students to grasp their attention and require engagement. With the big colorful pages, talking puppets, questioning cards, and other great tools students will have no option but to be involved in the reading. The experiences created from these materials will create memories they will cherish forever.

We want reading to be a memorable experience.

By having the right tools we can do this for young children. Kids have so many exciting gadgets in today's world. We do not want reading and books to be overlooked. We have to keep up with the pace and show children how exciting books and reading can be.
