My Students

Can you imagine what it would feel like to know your letters and sounds, but not have books on your level to practice your reading skills? This is where you can help!

I teach 24 lively, precious, imaginative, and adorable kindergarten students in a public school in North Carolina.

I have students functioning on different levels (above, on, and below grade level). My students are at an early age and deserve everything I can give to help them practice reading books that are on their reading level-not too high, not too low. I love my job and enjoy going to work each and every single day!

My Project

I would love to have these leveled books for my kindergarten students to use at school and home to practice their reading skills. The few lower-level books have been just read, reread, and reread again. They need some new and exciting books! It is frustrating to know my students want to read, but not be able to supply any new books for them. I don't want my students to give-up!
