My Students

My students are coming from low socio-economic households and will never get the opportunities to go home and blog their responses to me. I want them to have that opportunity to be able to compete globally with all of the technology in society. Websites are wonderful, if a student has the tools.

My students want to perform well and give learning 100%, but they face many struggles when they leave school.

Our school is not equipped where every child receives access to technology daily and that is what I am trying to implement. With the academic requirements of our students, they need another resource to enrich their leaving besides the textbook.

My Project

My vision is to eventually create a mobile lab in this urban elementary school. This is a program that is available in schools that have different population's of students and I really want my students to have the same opportunity, level the playing field. By my students receiving laptops they will be able to get motivated from the use of technology, chat, and blog with students across the world. All of the uses for the laptops will give my students hope and determination to continue on their educational path.

If we receive donations from other donors we would be able to purchase a class set of laptops instead of one for each group.

My students can become Mobile Math Wizards by being exposed to Math and technology daily. Hopefully this exposure creates some engineers and scientists!!!
