My Students

We are a Title 1 School that strives to foster a love of knowledge, self, and others within each of our students, while empowering them to be life-long learners, innovative thinkers, and citizens of good character in an ever-changing world.

We are a Pre-K-5 school that is home to approximately 800 students. Approximately 80% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Our students love new technology and its important for us to teach them how to succeed in a technology rich world.

My Project

Our students will use these new robots in our Robotics Club for 3rd-5th graders. Students will work together to learn math concepts, science, engineering, technology, and problem solving in order to learn computer programming. Students will build robots and program the robots to move through courses.

This project will provide engaging experiences and skills that will help them not only in my classroom, but for the rest of their life!

My students will love to have two EV3 Mindstorm robots in our classroom so that we can create, design, and learn computer programming to complete missions.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
