Do you remember when you wrote your first story on the computer and wanted to print it for someone to read?

I teach in an urban public school where children receive free breakfast and free lunch in Pennsylvania.

The students are smart with little resources. In my class of mentally gifted students, the age range is from first grade to eighth grade. Currently, we have more boys than, girls and there is a variety of experiences and cultures.

My Project

I teach in an urban school in a large city where most of my students have very little. The minds are great but the resources are few. I am hoping to enhance their learning experiences by providing a printer and ink. Many of the gifted projects are researched based with a theme. Students are to research a topic, take notes, write papers and/or pamphlets and then present their research to an audience. It's difficult to create papers and pamphlets without having a printer to complete the assignment. Please help our class by providing a printer and ink so the students can write and print their projects.

I hope that you will seriously consider donating a printer and ink to our MG (mentally gifted) program to enhance student learning, create curiosity in students, and provide an experience that will assist our future leaders of this great country.
