My Students

Do you remember how sitting in your desk all day can be so boring? I want to give my students the opportunity to get up and move around. First graders are very busy and need something to grab their attention.

My class is a very busy group of first grade students.

They love to get up and move! We are a low budget school district in Mississippi and have no money or funding for math books this year or any type of activities for that matter. These students are very active and need something to grab their attention. The pencil and paper just isn't doing it.

My Project

I know that if I have hands-on activities for my students this will help me keep then engaged and learning the math skills required. I will be able to work with small groups while the other students move around in stations working on hands-on activities. I even want to have a math listening station! I think this will give my students a fun and exciting way to learn and keep them wanting more daily.

This project is very important to me as a teacher because I believe in each student that walks through my doorway.

I want my students to have the confidence in knowing they can work math easily and have fun while doing so. This project is my way to give them that push that let's them know they can do it and I believe in them. Please consider donating for my project today!
