My students need number tiles, dominoes, geometric foam shapes, foam dice, hands-on place value cubes to help master their math skills.

My Students

When you were in school, do you remember how you mastered your math skills? Was it easier using manipulative's? Hands-on is educational, logical and fun.

I have wonderful and loving students who are craving to learn their grade level mathematics.

Working in a district with high poverty and in a school with high needs, gives me no real budget to provide essential math manipulative's. My student's deserve to have essential materials that will enable them to learn and apply their knowledge.

My Project

Each manipulative chosen is to work or aid a student in learning the mathematical concepts for this grade level. For example, dominoes can be used for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and so much more. The number tiles can be used for counting, greater/less than, multiplying, adding, etc. I have chosen something for each concept we will be addressing the most. Student learn best going from the concrete (manipulative's), to semi-concrete (some manipulative's/some abstract), then to an abstract form. Again, each were chosen for their multiple skills they will provide and enhance their love of math.

If you choose to fund my students mathematical needs you are funding wonderful children who are loving and grateful.
