My Students

Students in special education can use any tool available to be successful in their learning. Many of my students have been asking for number lines and flash cards and I would like to provide them with these tools to help them develop their mathematical concept knowledge!

My students are special education students in grades K-5.

Our elementary school is in a mid-sized city with a variety of ethnic backgrounds and social levels. I serve a total of 65 students who are require intensive instructional support in order to reach their individual educational goals.

My Project

If we had number lines in our classroom, students will be able to use them in lessons such as counting, skip counting, addition, subtraction and many more topics! The flash cards will help them master their basic facts in arithmetic which they can apply in other areas such as problems solving.

This project is so important to my students and I.

I have wanted these things for my classroom, but cannot afford them myself as a first year teacher. Please support my elementary resource room!
