This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

You wouldn't believe what a difference math manipulatives make for students learning new concepts. Games also help reinforce skills in a fun way.

I teach math to a wonderful group of 4th graders.

We are located in a large inner city. A lot of people say we can't learn math...but we do! Not only that, we are mastering a majority of our concepts! We are working on fractions now and trying to implement the Common Core.

My Project

My students need a variety of math games to help reinforce math concepts. They learn so much by working together! We also need a number line to help us order fractions. The dominoes will be a fun way to practice learning angles. Lastly, we need cooperative cards to play games with.

With your generous donation, my students will be able to challenge themselves with the new Common Core Math Standards.

They will be able to meet and exceed the standards! My students will be so thankful.
