My Students

Create what the mind envisions and our computers can model. 3D printing will bring our program into the next logical direction for a constructionist classroom.

CSDHS is a public charter school located in Davidson, North Carolina.

As a laboratory school we have tried to incorporate researched based best practices into our curriculum. Our students have played a part in selecting some of our offerings over the years. There is a great deal of student interest in this new technology.

My Project

A 3D printer enables us to equip students with the skills necessary to compete in our global economy. Students could conceivably leave our school with a valuable and employable skill. Furthermore, students who wish to pursue advanced degrees in related fields will benefit from access to this program as a precursor to further schooling.

Without donor funding, we will be unable to offer this program in the foreseeable future.

The addition of a 3D printer will round out our school offerings and include a valuable dimension to our instruction.
