Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Empty classroom? Not after your help! We need supplies that can be reused for years to come! This is going to help us and students for many years after us!

My students are special education and academically at risk.

I try to provide them with enriching environments that allow them to grow both academically and socially. We strive to make the our classroom a "WE" environment where it is centered off the students and their individual needs.

My Project

I am requesting items that can be reused every year. Bins for us to store our works in progress or paper for our writing center. I am requesting mathematics manipulatives so that the students can explore counting, adding, subtracting, fractions, multiplication..etc... with a hands on approach.

This project is important because I have learned the value of what it means to have a function classroom in which students can feel like they are the center of the classroom.

Instilling within them the confidence and tools that they need to succeed is just a stepping off point.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
