Help my students stay organized and take ownership of their school materials. This will help de-clutter the room, cut down on transition and materials distribution time, and allow students to follow the structured organization style that I will teach them.
My 2nd graders are getting ready to start the 2012-2013 school year in August.
They go to school in North Philadelphia and attend a Renaissance school initiative neighborhood charter school. They all live within 12 blocks of the school and many utilize the school as a center for community activity. Students at Young Scholars Douglass are joyful, driven, and passionate.
Aussie Pouch seat sacks slide on the back of individual student chairs. Aussie Pouches are made of incredibly durable denim and will last for many many years. Each student will have their own seat sack where they will keep their books, pencils, markers, white boards etc. This will allow them to easily access their materials. It will also allow me to teach a uniform process for organizing materials that will provide needed structure for the classroom.
Your donation supports the vital organization of our classroom and my students' ability to develop strong organizational skills.
These seat sacks will last many many years and instill habits that last for students' entire academic and professional careers.
