LOW INCOME STUDENTS IN NEED OF COLOR!!! Hello everyone. I teach a struggling population of students at a low income area in NC. I teach 9th graders who failed their first semester in Algebra 1. And Seniors struggling to graduate- both ends of the "spectrum".

My freshman class is titled Introduction to Mathematics, and this is pretty much what my students need. Many of them have a lack in number systems and the background necessary to succeed in Algebra 1. My seniors have struggled throughout high school and are now just in need of motivation to complete work all together. I think they call it "senioritis".

My "Intro" kids need structure all the time, so I want each of them to have a spiral bound notebook with colorful activities pasted in not only to make class more exciting (they can get easily excited) but to make it easier to find their work to grade. This would also keep them organized. My seniors need something to grab their attention, and I think colorful worksheets and materials is a great place to start!!

PLEASE support us in this endeavor. My kids need everything they can get and life would be a little less stressful for this first year teacher if I had a way to make the work a more eye-catching. Thanks for you attention!!
