My students need a document camera and projector in order to see classroom assignments and lessons.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We begin our day cultivating kindness within our classroom community as we share our "sunshine and rain cloud" for the day . Our character lesson begins as a group using literature and music. Students then rotate through character centers focused on self growth, service, emotions, and goal setting.
The students are eager to learn more about themselves and the world around them.
The two small country schools are comprised of enthusiastic students dedicated to their education. Over half of the students are on free and reduced lunch in our Title I schools. Technology is scarce on our campus and as the counselor I have the opportunity to enhance the learning experience of every student on campus.
My Project
With a projector and a document camera, the students will be able to fully participate in the lessons as they see the materials enlarged and projected for all to see. They will enjoy the pictures presented in the books and they will have a better understanding of classroom assignments as each character center is modeled using the document camera and projector.
The donations for the document camera and projector will help the students reach for success as they are better able to see their assignment goals and have a clear picture of their expectations.
Students will have the opportunity to understand how to think through assignments as they are modeled and then independently grow as a student through character and education.
