My students need their own digital camera to capture all of their learning experiences to share with their parents and relatives.

I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher who works in a small, rural Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade building. Our resources are limited and many of my students have difficulty sharing what they are learning about with others.

Many of my students come from impoverished homes and sharing what happens within our classroom can be challenging. With a digital camera, my students will be able to share with their families as well as other school members all their learning experiences that they have had.

Using a digital camera, my students and I can show others what they are learning through pictures. I would like to have a digital camera to help my student create a photo album of all the different learning experiences that they have enjoyed throughout the year. They will be able to keep their album and share it with family and friends. At the same time, they will be learning about how to appropriately use and care for a computers and digital cameras. Since the software is included with the camera, editing pictures and creating other fun projects with our pictures is another way for them to love school and foster a lifetime of learning.

My students are so proud of all that they are capable of doing and all that they have learned to do. Using a quality digital camera that takes clear pictures is a fantastic way for my preschoolers to share their first school experiences.
