My Students

Doesn't this crystal clear image of water lilies look lovely? Help us explore the world of learning by providing us with a projection screen to view it! Presently our classroom's bumpy plaster wall is working as a makeshift projection screen, and the images are blurry and shiny.

My students are fifth graders in the heart of South Central Los Angeles.

Almost all of them have no any access to technology in their homes. There are 31 students in my class and only one computer. That is why having this projection screen is so important. It will open up a new world of technology to them with crystal clear images!

My Project

An overhead projection screen will enhance my instruction because with it I will be able to use my overhead projector, Elmo, and computer more efficiently. Currently I have access to only one computer in my classroom. With 31 students this ratio is not very conducive for any online access for learning. There are so many rich resources of information online that I will be able to project on the screen for all to see.

The impact this will have on my classroom instruction will be tremendous!

Currently we are using a bumpy plaster wall as a projection screen. The images are blurry and shiny. With this projection screen all the images I project will be crystal clear. This will be more engaging to my students and increase their learning!
