My students need 2 literacy bags, 2 math bags, 1 science bags and a rack to hold them.

I teach pre- k in a school that was destroyed by Katrina. The roof was blown off. We are currently housed in FEMA modular units.

Much of the school supplies were ruined and I am trying to re-stock our classroom inventory. The students love to read and see books.

Literacy bags not only contain a book, but visual items that help the students remember the sequence of events that take place in the book.

By providing these literacy bags, you will be helping the students grasp important concepts involving reading, memory, and math and science.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
