My Students

Do you remember when you first discovered that you could read? It is an amazing sight to watch the students in my classroom discover that they CAN read words and sentences. I want every child to leave my classroom with the confidence to read independently.

My classroom is diverse in every sense of the word.

I have bilingual, ESL, regular, and special education students all collaborating and challenging one another in the same learning community. I want to provide them with as many book options and resources as I can to ensure they will have an enriching education so that they may pursue higher learning in the future.

My Project

By helping my classroom, you will be positively impacting the lives of 27 students this year, plus many more in the future. I want my students to enjoy learning and love school. You will be giving students the opportunity to have more books and reading materials to choose from. My students need a bookcase so that we can read and share more books and 30 blank hardcover books.

These materials will help my students be successful and have fun while learning.

Reading is critical to every student's academic success; without a strong literacy background, students are bound to struggle in every subject. Books, books, and more books are the key to building stamina, comprehension, and a multitude of experiences.
