Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The letter sand tray, motor alphabet letters, peg boards, and other tactile alphabet material being requested will help my students with autism learn the alphabet through different modalities. These materials will not only help my current students but will help all of my future students as well.

I teach primary students with Autism.

The majority are non-verbal and enjoy learning fundamentals with tactile and sensory materials. They attend an elementary school in the greater Los Angeles area. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts we are unable to purchase some of the materials that are beneficial to students with Autism.

My Project

With the tactile and sensory materials that we are requesting, my students will be able to learn the fundamentals of the alphabet which will also increase their desire to use their language. The materials will also help with their fine motor skills to later help them learn how to write.

Please help us learn how to be engaged in the world by placing a small donation to our cause.

Remember, sensory and tactile materials make a big impact in life of a child with Autism.
