My Students

Students need to become teach savvy at an early age.

My students come in to school every day eager to learn.

Many of the students do not have access to technology outside of school. My school is in a economically deprived urban community. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home. Like all young people, they are eager to learn but need additional support to feed their quest to learn.

My Project

By providing three laptops to my students they will become familiar with technology that many other students in many other areas of the city have access to on a daily basis. Laptops in the classroom will provide my students with unlimited resources and access to anywhere their imagination will send them.

As noted above, laptops in my classroom will change my students lives for the better because they will be on equal footing with other students and enable them to master material and to meet the requirements they are expected to achieve.

Computers will allow my students a blank slate to be creative and innovative in their learning.
