My Students

The thirst for knowledge is strong. My students crave non-fiction books that teach them about the world.

All of my students love non-fiction books.

They are fascinated with all things science and history, and love to look at and read non-fiction books. The problem is most of our non-fiction books are not leveled. With all of my students at different levels of reading this will be the perfect library for our classroom!

My Project

In this set it has leveled non-fiction books that will allow my students to find books that they can read on their own to learn exciting topics. This set will help my students not only gain knowledge, but gain life skills that they will use for the rest of their academic career. Reading non-fiction books is a skill that all children need to learn. My student want non-fiction books that can help them gain this skill to help them succeed in life.

This is so important for my students, many of whom are at reading levels that most non-fiction books are not at.

They need non-fiction books that will help them gain skills such as analyzing text and drawing conclusion,s using features of informational texts, and reading informational text with fluency. All of which is critical for their growth as educated adults.
