Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Where would you be right now without the skills necessary for the use of modern technology? My students are just becoming comfortable with the use of a laptop and/or computer. You could be the link to help them in becoming modern with the technical world.

I teach a great group of first grade students that make my days a pleasure.

They reside in a community that is stricken with a high level of poverty. Most of them qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. Their parents may struggle to make ends meet, but they are so willing to absorb anything and everything offered to them. I am blessed to be their teacher, because they teach me as well daily.

My Project

The selected Dell laptop will provide the necessary opportunities to prepare my students for their future educational requirements. They will be able to take quizzes through the use of the AR program. They will also have access to Internet educational websites to develop skills necessary for promotion to the next grade level. Most importantly, they will gain confidence and not fear modern technology.

By donating to this project, you will impact a group of children that have limited technology experiences that are so vital in the fast moving technical world.

You will be the link to better prepare them for a successful educational, yet fun journey. Help me to help them to be confident and successful individuals.
